Ti-6Al-4V titanium alloy has low density, which is provided with excellent mechanical properties, corrosion resistance, light specific gravity and good bio-compatibility. Metal Injection Moulding (MIM) is very suitable for the production and manufacturing of precision and complex parts, and is widely used in consumer electronics, medical equipment, automotive electronics and other fields.

This method uses hydrogen to make the titanium brittle enough to crush and perform initial sizing. Hydrogen is then removed under vacuum followed by final sizing to customer specifications. This process creates a final particle morphology described as blocky or angular.

CPTi (chemically pure titanium) powder is a high purity titanium metal powder used in various applications requiring excellent corrosion resistance, high strength, low weight, and biocompatibility. CPTi powder is produced by gas atomization process to achieve spherical powder morphology with minimal contamination. It has a particle size range of 15-150 microns generally. The high purity and cleanliness result in excellent flowability, packing density and sinterability.

17-4 PH, a wrought compressed stainless steel powder, combines high strength and high hardness with excellent corrosion resistance, fracture toughness and heat treatment properties.

Parts built from CMI StainlessSteel 17-4PH can be machined, shot-peened and polished in as-built or heat treated states. Solution annealing and ageing treatment are performed to achieve proper hardness and mechanical properties (ASTM A564 – 13).

Our 316L stainless steel powder (UNS S31603) is a premium austenitic stainless steel alloy, offering the highest level of corrosion resistance available in a standard Powder Metallurgy(P/M) stainless steel grade. It provides very good strength at extremely high temperatures.

304L stainless steel powder (UNS S30403) is a corrosion-resistant material that exhibits good property stability below 1000°F. This low-carbon variant of the 304 grade provides the advantages of austenitic stainless steel, making it an excellent choice for various manufacturing processes.

The PTA welding process compresses a free arc column using a water-cooled copper nozzle, concentrating the energy and fully ionizing the gas within the arc. This type of arc is known as a plasma arc, which can reach temperatures of 10,000 to 20,000°C. The intense heat rapidly melts both the alloy powder and the surface of the base material, forming a high-quality alloy weld layer on the substrate.

Laser cladding is a process in which alloy powder is added to the surface of a substrate and melted together with a thin layer of the substrate using a high-energy-density laser beam. This results in the formation of a metallurgically bonded alloy coating on the surface.

The oxygen-acetylene powder welding process involves heating alloy powder with an oxy-acetylene flame until it melts or reaches a plastic state, then spraying and depositing it onto the treated workpiece surface. This results in a weld layer on the metal substrate with special properties, such as wear resistance, corrosion resistance, and high-temperature oxidation resistance.
